The color scheme of this piece only emphasizes the involved flames. It depicts a story in chapter 3 of the Book of Daniel. Three Hebrew men are thrown into a fiery furnace. However, they not only walk out unscathed – they are accompanied by Jesus! Read more about this on Wikipedia.

The riches of the sea with Neptune, tritons, and two nereids(sea nymphs). Although this painting’s topic isn’t too odd or dark, I loved the color scheme. Hopefully you will like it too!

Samson was known for many things: slaying a lion with his bare hands; killing an entire army with only the jawbone of a donkey; having super human strength from his magic hair.
Sadly, his hair was cut in his sleep, so he lost his powers. He was then blinded, insulted, and enslaved. He died by asking god for his long hair/power, and then destroying the building in which he and his captors were in.
Hardcore.
